KEMNEDY - Elaine Marguerite (nee
Smith), passed away suddenly in Tem-
cula, California, January 2, 1994 at the
age of 54. Born February 13, 1939 in
Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Elaine moved
to West Vancduver at age 3 and lived on
the North Shure until. her marriage in
1961, when she moved to the United
States. Predeceased by her parents Dick
and Marguerite. She is survived by her
loving husband Don of Anaheim, Califor-
nia; daughter Colleen (Tony) Premer and
son Craig Kennedy of Costa Mesa,
California; 3 sisters, Dixie (Mike)
Fiermestad of West Bank, Lynn (Ron)
Renville, Pemberton, Shawn (Mike)
Speicher, North Vancouver; 2 brothers,
Dennis (Kathy) Smith, Squamish and
Lenard (Pat) Smith, Surrey. Ske will be
sadly missed by her family and

throughout Canada and the United
States. Elaine will be remembered at a
Memorial Service in West Vancouver on
June 25, 1994.

We would like to share our appreciation of Robert
P. Edge of North Vancouver who passed away
January 20, 1994, Robert joined Capers in August,
1991, As Bakery Manager at our West Vancouver
store, he contributed not only to Capers but to the
community. Robert's wit, love of baking and
cxeativity provided years of “goodies” made with
love and pride. Though Robert's role was behind
the scenes, some of you may have met him and
will remember his warm smile and gracious
manner. - Robert's contribution to the Capers
cookbook “To Love & Feed People” was
substantial and his happiness in being able to share
recipes was contagious, Our deepest sympathy is
