There are also daily opportunities for participants to perform. The children’s program for 6 to 12 year-olds includes drama, music, arts, crafts and swimming, and it will be ted by Kevin O'Neill. Mary Sokol Brown, first violin- ist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, will teach the children's string program and coach small ensembles. The program enables parents to enrol in the adult sessions. After- noons are free for hiking, swim- ming, tennis, informal music-mak- ing, or exploring scenic Vancouver Island.
