Beginning Monday, the North Shore Zone of Theatre BC holds its annual Festival of Plays at the Presentation House Arts Centre. The festival offers enter- tainment from several groups in the zone, which stretches from Deep Cove u, 10 Whistler and Pemberton and includes the Sunshine Coast. The theaue groups come together for a week of com- petitive theatre, workshops, and professional adjudication. On the final evening of the festival, one or more plays are chosen to represent the zone at the provincial Mainstage Theatre Festival, to be held in July in Kelowna. The real winners in this competition are North Shore residents, who can choose to go to any or all of six evenings of entertainment. an hour.
