The Lonsdale Quay Market was honored with the prestigious Award of Merit in Community Relations and the Award of Merit in Merchandising Events and Sales Promotions. The Community Relations Award of Merit was given for the 10-week long entertainment series entitled ‘‘Summer Festival’’, which was co-sponsored by the North Shore News, the North Si1ore Credit Union and two North Shore businesses. The Merchandising Events and Sales Promotions Award of Merit was given for the ‘*Christmas Greeting Card’? and shopping cer- tificate mail campaign.
