Layton in North Vancouver provincial court oa Nov, 24: Ali Kermanshahi was fined $500 and had his driver’s licence suspended for one year after the 24-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to driving on Sept. 27 while prohibited by a court order from doing so. Before Judge J.D. Layton in North Vancouver provincial court on Nov. 21: Paul O’Sullivan received a con- ditional discharge and three months probation after the 23- year-old North Vancouver man was found guilty of assaulting a woman in connection with an Aug. 26 incident. Before Judge J.B. Paradis in North Vancouver provincial court on Nov. 20: Mark William Richards was fin- ed $150 after the 25-year-old Bur- naby man pleaded guilty to assault in connection with a June 15 inci- dent. Before Judge J.D. Leyton in North Vancouver provincial court on Nov. 20: Paul Grant received a suspended sentence arid 18 months probation after the 22-year-old North Van- couver man was found guilty of assaulting a woman in connection with a May 18 incident. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in North Vancouver provincial court on Nov. 20: Richard Brown was sentenced to one day in jail and fined $100 after the North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to 18 offences against the Unemployment Insurance Act dur- ing the period from Aug. 24, 1989 to March 24, 1989. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in North Vancouver provincial court on Nov. 17: Christopher Salzborn was fined $100 after the 31-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to mischief in connection with an Aug. 6 incident at the Avalon Hotel. Salzborn was also ordered to pay the hotel $895.08 in compen- sation for the broken window. Before Judge J.B. Paradis in North Vancouver provincial court on Nov. 17: Ali Dehghannejad received a conditional discharge and six months probation after the 25- year-old North Vancouver man was found guilty of assault in con- nection with a July 8 incident. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in North Vancouver provincial court on Nov. 15: Paul Anthony Guterres was fin- ed $750 and put on probation for one year after the 19-year-old North Vancouver man was found guilty of mischief and theft under $1,000. The charges were in connection with a March 17 incident outside Holidays Nightclub in North Van- couver where a car window was smashed and the car’s contents, including a car stereo and ski boots, were stolen. As a condition of probation, Guterres was ordered to stay away from the nightclub and pay the victim $100 and ICBC $450.
