THE DRILLERS moved into a
first-place tie with the Canadians
in the North Shore Senior Hockey
League when the tean: duinped the
Rusty Gulls 5-2 on Nov. 16.

The game was scoreless until the
last minute of the first period when
Rick Walton opened scoring for
the Drillers.

Don Hopps converted Larry
Brown's goal-mouth pass ear!y in
the second period, and Larry
Watts rifled a shot over Gulls’
goaltender John Phillipson'’s left
shoulder for a 3-0 Driller lead.

on an unassisted effort.

broke in on left wing and drilled
