Bombers and Jr. Belle
Johnny's Angels skated away
with the Provincial “B”
Championships in their
divisions in weekend action
at Port Coquitlam, and the
Bombers also took home the
Belle Sportsgalship trophy.
Peter
DeGeer and managed by
Jean Berry, lost to
Aldergrove 6-3 in their first
game but then blasted their
way past Prince George 7-4,
Langley 10-2 and Poco 106
before meeting up with
Addergrove-—again” in the
finals, beating them 4-3 in an
exciting game.

The girls kept the en-
thusiastic crowd on their feet
as goalie Lynn Bethune, who
played an outstanding game
and centre Nadine
Bruskiewich together held
off three Aldergrove of-
fensive players for the last 2
minutes of the game. Jen-

Sandy Jaremchuk, Sarah

hard, scored well and never

in the finals, winning 6-5 ina
