1940 in Nelson. “The bride wore her
mother’s wedding dress which was later
used by her daughter.” The West Van
couple have three daughiers, four grand-
daughters and a 6-month-old grandson.

50th wedding anniversary was celebrated
with family and friends in August before
the couple left on an Alaskan cruise.
