Robley, assisted by his border Coltie dog, rounded a flock of 14 sheep and one goat as part of the spring fair. Once the wool was sheared from the animals, the Greater Vancouver Weavers and Spinners Guild demonstrated how the wool can be made inte a variety of craft articles. Maplewood Farm spokesman April Johnston said it will take exactly one year for the wuol to grow back on the sheared sheep. The sheep fair, con- sidered a ‘celebration of spring’* by regular Maplewood Farm visitors, is into its 10th consecutive year.
