for tenants facing rent hikes

NORTH VANCOUVER City Council has agreed to do
what it can to help tenants of a Lower Lonsdaie apartment
who were hit with notices of rental increases of up to 55 per

cent over the Chrisimas holida

Worried tenants of the 30-unit
Centennial Manor apartments at
342 East First St. saw council
adopt several motions aimed at in-
creasing the availability of afford-
able rental housing during Mon-
day's council meeting.
