MAILBOX Taxpayers should not pay for recycling incentives Dear Editor: There is no valid reason why the taxpayers of this province should be asked to dip into their pockets yet again to provide incentives for manufacturers to use recycled ma- terial derived from household waste. Entrepreneurs have just as much responsibility to protect our en- vironment as anybody else. The use of recycled material does not constitute any additional cost to them, and if it did, they would surely pass it on to the consumer. Legislation to ensure that they Civil war down the road?
