women's volleyball team came
away with two wins and a lose at a
tournament at the Langara Cam-
pus of Vancouver Community
College Jan. 30.

The Cap women topped BCIT
and Trinity Western University by
healthy margins, falling only to
Selkirk College.

“It was good for us to beat
Trinity and BCIT,’’ said coach Joe
lacobellis. ‘‘They are two of the
toughest in the league and we are
just a young team with only one
returnec from last year.”' .

The volleyball Blues’ record now
stands at four wins and five losses;
the team will play in another tour-

‘Wee) Gillis memorial racquetbal} tournament in North Vancouver
recently. The duo of Grebinsky and Rodrigues iater lost in the men’s
doubles finals to Roger Brown and Ian Cropper. The men’s open
winner was Doug McQuarrie; the women's open winner was Debby
Forgie. Organized by players Marg Elligott, Jackie Knill and Forgie,
the Aiko Racquets Club tournament raised more than $700 for the
North Shore Association for the Physically Handicapped.
