Cars catch fire in NV A MAN trying to start his car parked at London Drugs in North Vancouver,recently, ended up starting a fire instead. North Vancouver City firefighters responded to a call at 12:43 p.m.'June 7 after 2 1976 Volvo station wagon backfired and caught fire. The car was a write-off. In 2 separate incident June 9, a GMC camper van, driving up Lonsdale Avenue at approximately 5 p.m., stalled. The occupants pushed it to 5th Street where it caught fire.
