Youth drug probiems tackled

to other community programs,

agencies, which the ministry funds
to make programs more responsive
to varying local needs, Dueck said.

He added that high quality
specialized programs in some parts
of the province have already been
developed and will be useful
models for other communities.

He noted that he was receiving
more and more requests for help in
informing and helping young peo-
ple deal with use and abuse of
alcohol and other drugs.
