Winners out of twelve competitors in the double- handed category, sailed in Laser HI’s, were Carold Buchan and Nelle Alexander of Seattle, who finished with 12.0 points. In second place, with 14.0 points, were Karen and Gail Johnson of Toronto. The Johnson sisters, three-time champions in this event, won the Silver Sails Trophy as the top Canadian double-handed entry. Marie Gendron and Paule Samson of Montreal were third with 20.1 points. Other local skippers were Cathy McPherson from Vancouver, Gill Hayward of Victoria and Chloe Evison from West Vancouver, finisning eighth, tenth and eleventh, respectively. Cynthia Desbrisay and Anne Carey of Calgary finished second and third with 23.7 and 37.4 points, respectively. Kathy Camp- bell and Melinda Straight of Vancouver were sixth and seventh and Teesa Martin fom Vancouver was fif- teenth.
