Committee.

A total of 28 products
have been added to the
Branch’s: portfolio, while a.
total of 12  products-: ex-
changed listings... The.
Branch’s total: “mumber . of-
listings -remain at ap-
proximately 1500 items.

Wallace said that the 40
new | listings represent the
Branch's. continuing efforts

provide _ reasonable
quality. with moderate
prices, while maintaining

good choice for the ‘con

sumer..

Among the new: listings
_are 22. : imported -table
wines—-six ‘red and 16 white.
These.:: wines’ include
representation from Italy
(seven: new products), the-
United States (six), France
(five), and Austria, New.
Zealand, Portugal and South
Africa fone each).

Other new products which
the consumer will soon see
on thé shelves in B.C. liquor

‘stores include’ three
Canadian Whiskeys, four
Rums, two Vodkas, three
Brandies, one Tequila, two
Liqueurs,. one Vermouth,

_ one Sherry and one. Apertit

In addition; the “Branch -

has listed two new domestic
beers. Yukon Gold and the
new “Draught Sphere,” both
from. ..Prince . George
Breweries, will be ‘available,
with the latter only sold from
hotels and other licensed
premises. . .

A number of Specialty
products were assigned
general listings as a result of
consumer demand, while
likewise, some general
listings assumed Specialty
‘status, primarily because of
revised pricing.

Availability of newly listed

products will vary greatly,

on supplier. Both

of the new. beers are

currently available in the

province now, on a limited
basis.
