The teen, formerly of
North Vancouver and
now residing in
Vancouver, can not be
named as stipulated in
the Young Offenders
Act.

The teenager alleged-
ly tried to force a 13-
year-old girl into prosti-
tution by threatening
and intimidating her,
said North Vancouver
RCMP Const. Tom
Seaman.

The RCMP
Emergency Response
Team arrested the
teenager who was sus-
pected of carrying a
weapon. No weapon
was found.

The teenager has
links te the Fersian

ride gang from the
North Shore.

fines issued

men are out $4,000 and
$5,000 each after being
sentenced last month on
charges of failing to
send in their completed
income tax forms.

Kenneth R
McKenzie, 54, was
fined $4,000 for failing
to file tax returns for
1988, 1989, 1990 and

In an unrelated case,
Ronald Gadoury, 46,
was fined $5,000 for
failing to file tax
returns for 1990, 1991,

guilty to the charges.

sentenced him on Jan.
21 in North Vancouver,

Robbery found to be bogus

NORTH Vancouver
RCMP are investigating
a bogus bank machine
robbery.

The police were called to a
North Vancouver home on
Jan. 3. A teen told police that
he had been robbed.

The teen said that while he
was trving to deposit some
money ata bank machine he

was attacked by another man.

The attacker allegedly with-
drew a large amount of cash
from the bank machine and ran
orf.

RCMP investigatay found
that the stated victim and two
of his tnends had planned and
staged the entire event.

The three accused can not
be named as stipuls.ea by the
Young Offenders Act.
