THE NORTH Shore In-
dependent School Society
and the West Vancouver
School Board will meet

Thursday with the Minister
of Education Jack Heinrich
to discuss a joint proposal
which, if accepted, would
give a green light to an in-
dependent school in West
Vancouver.

The West Van board decid-
ed tO participate in the
meeting Monday night and
also discussed its position.

the board ‘‘should consider
leasing space to any Indepen-
dent School or other
organization if the lease in-
