Chanel is on a the move, ‘cress red way’ Heals

CHANEL’S Vancouver
boutique will mark its
10th year in the city
with a move to a new
location.

In May, the French fash-
ion house plans te close its
store on Burrard Street and
reopen on West Hastings
Street, in a custom designed
space more than triple its for-
mer size.

The move is contirmation
that the high-fashion reiailer
views Vancouver as a locally
driven market, noz just
tourist based, said the compa-
ny’s executive director of
public relations and fashion

“We were one of the orig-
inals in terms of high-end
fashion and when we moved
in, everyone else moved in
