A YOUNG woman was taken te Lisas Cate Hospital on
Dee, 18 after she wes veaten with a hard object, pessibly

Fast 3rd Street in North Vancouver.

The woman was apparently beaten for no reason as
she was coming home frem a store at about 9 p.m., said
a North Vancouver RCMP spokesman.

She required six stitches to her head.

She also received injuries to her back and an arm as a
