Anvil holds novel contest

THE COUNTDOWN is on for Anvil Press’ 15th Annual! International
3-Day Novel Contest, held this year from Sept. 5-7.

Since its inception in 1978 as a
barroom challenge among friends
and staff of Pulp Press, the 3-Day
Novel Contest has gained a repu-
tation as the cheeky and uncom-
promising rebel of literary form.

The contest attracts about 500
writers each year.
