Colts picked up their fourth consecutive win with a 4-3 victory over Burnaby Beamers while Queens Park Rangers took over sole possession of second place with a big 6-0 win over Nanaimo Dyanmos. Colum- bus and Victoria played to a l-t draw. All these were Sunday games. On Saturday Burnaby picked up their second win of the season with a 1-0 win over Nanaimo, who remain winless. Piayers go to bat * THE BERT Duke Girls Soft- ball League expanded by' six teams this year and now totals 32 with 400 girls play- ing in five divisions: Mites ages 8-10, Squirts 11-12, Peewee 13-14, Bantam 15-16, Midget 17-19. This year select teams were formed in each division. A teal battle is shaping up between the Trojans and - Madres in the Pee-wee divi- sion. Both teams have a 6 and 0 record in the Mite division. Barbara Wiens, Francis McKilligan, Shirley Meekison, and Margaret Pickering were the other North Van Masters representatives. Four hundred swimmers attended the meet.
