advising North Shore schools

who groped a young girl at
Seytiour Heights elementary
school on Tuesday. ,
The man is described as
being white, in his 30s, with
blond, shoulder-length hair, a
beard and a moustache. He is
about 5°10" (178 em) and has
a medium build.

The man was wearing 2
black T-shirt, torn jeans and
white running shoes.

A nine-year-old girl was
approached by the man in a
schoolyard at about 12:30 p.m.
and touched in the pelvic area.

The suspect told her.
“Don't tell anyone. It’s a

critic of the school board, said
District 44 would get just
under $2 million extra as part
of new education ministry
block funding. The block fund-
ing was to be announced late
on Friday.

Schreck said the remaining
debt will not be paid from
future operating budgets.

“It wili be retired as we deal
with the sale of assets and
future capital spending,” said
Schreck.

He said Smith will remain
in his post until a new board is
in place in December.

Meanwhile West Vancou-
ver-Capilano Liberal MLA
Jeremy Dalton opposes the
reinstatement of the democrat-
ically elected school board.
