WV anti-bulk housing bylaws planned

ZONING BYLAWS are being
drawn up to reflect the concerns
expressed in the bulk housing
study (Large House Syndrome
Report) conducted for West Van-
couver.

Ald. Rod Day explained at a re-
cent West Vancouver District
Council meeting that district-wide

concerns regarding building
heights, floor area ratio, tree
coverage, lanes, sideyards and

blasting will be looked at when
considering zoning by'aw changes.

After municipal staff have
drawn up the zoning amendments,

qualified professional to take on a
long-term ‘‘neighvorhood-by-
neighborhood study.’’

Caulfeiid, where some residents
have applied to have their
neighborhood designated a
heritage area.

for specific neighborhoods.

themselves,’’ added Ald. Carol
Ann Reynolds.
