COLLEGE EXPO EVENT Exhibit opens at Cap College BOOMERS SONG FOR FIFFY North Shore and Howe Sound artists, August | will mark the culmination of many months of work. That day is the opening of the North Shore Clay, Fibre and Native Arts’- Expo 86 exhibition at Capilano College. This juried exhibition, which runs until August 20, is sponsored by the Expo Special Events com- mittee and features original works revolving around the theme of Ex- po. Among the well known local ar- tists whose works will be featured are Judy Cranmer, Donna McLaren, Barbara Barron, Ron Tribe, Peter Baker, Susan Lopateki, Mary Frame, Rose Naumann, Robert Kingsmill and Cathy Robertson. The exhibition will also coincide with an international conference of artists being held at UBC this summer. Exhibition hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 2:30 to 8 pm in the N building on the North Campus of Capilano College. All interested members of the community and visitors are more than welcome to view these textile, ceramic and Native works, and exhibit catalogues will be available. Come celebrate a special B.C.
