THE WIFE OF jewelry merchant Kultar Chauhan denied
Wednesday that she had conspired with her lesbian lover to
have two men steal close to $400,000 worth of jewels from
the Chauhan’s Lynn Valley home.

Testifying in the trial of Ra-
jvinder Paul Gill,. Shakuntla
Chauhan admitted to having a

told a Vancouver county court jury
that he believed Boodram had been

involved in the Feb. 15, 1985 rob-
bery.
Boodram was with the Chauhan

family on the evening of Feb. 15,.

1985 when two,masked men burst
into the Chauhan’s Lynn- Valley
home.

According to previous testimony

from Boodram, she,. ‘Ranabal and
the Chauhans were tied, gagged

“and ‘threatened by the masked

men,. who made off with $375, 000
in gold and jewels.
