NORTHERN ALARM SYSTEMS LTD. 983-2255 THE CANADIAN Coast Guard ship Osprey was calied out to assist two kayakers in distress in Howe Sound waters near the Sunset Marina in West Vancouver on Sunday, Feb. 14. ! The West Vancouver Police received a call from an alert Sunset Beach resident who saw the kayakers in the water at 5:05 p.m. The kayakers were able to swim to shore, where they were subsequently spotted by Coast Guard rescuers. The two, a 50-year-old Vancouver woman and a 45-year-old Vancouver man, were found to be cold but uninjured. A police spokesman said good preparation and proper equipment and training kept the incident from becoming a tragedy. But her friends still love her! Frankie’s burned NORTE VANCOUVER City.
