Van § PAGE A20 ‘Pope’s Secret’ delivered in WV HATE LITERATURE denouncing the Roman Catholic Church, which takes special aim at the papacy, has surfaced in West Vancouver. Pamphlets have been randomly tossed into backyards, onto driveways, and placed on the wind- Shields of some cars at the Park Royal shopping centre. One man, who requested anonymity, told the North Shore News he found the pamphlet entitled ‘‘The Pope’s Secrets’’ in_ his backyard. “‘It was carefully stapled so whoever wanted to see what it was, would have to open it up,’’ said the man. ‘“‘I’m certainly not a Cathohc, but this is what 1 would cal) hate literature | found it terribly offensive "’ The literature was pro. duced by an Arkansas group called the Tony and Susan Alamo Christian Foundation In a telephone conversation Monday, a member of the Foundation from Alma, Arkansas, who tefused to be identified, said the group 1s composed of born again Christians, with members throughout Canada and the United States “Most people im the Cathoble Church don't krow about the attowstres the North Vatican has committed over the years.
