Dear Editor:

Animal owners ‘of “the
North Shore beware! If your
pet gets hit by a car, do you
' know where to go for help?
Late one night recently a
unfortunate dog was hit by a
car and left for dead on the
road. Another witness and
myself happened to be at the
scene just after the dog was

hit. The poor animal was.

yelping in pain and fright. I
picked him up.and we went
looking for help.

No immediate help = till
morning at our North Shore
S.P.C.A. Vancouver branch
