Sentinel SEVENTEEN Sentinel Secondary students have been named Advanced Placement Scholars by the College Board in recognition of exceptional achieve- ments on college level Advanced Placement Examinations written in May. The College Board recog- nizes several levels of achieve- ment based on the number of year long courses and exams. At. Sentinel, five students walified for the AP National Scholar Award as well as the - AP Scholar with Distinction Award by carning grades of 4 or higher on five or more AP Examinations. These students are Anya “Tavionmorive Brox, Tiffany Butt, Terence ‘Lee, Samantha Waters, and Andrea Woo, and all five have given Sentinel the distinction of having the largest number of AP National Scholars in Canada. Danny Jui was awarded an AP Scholar with Distinction Award for achieving a mini- mum average of 3.5 on five or more AP examinations. Four other students — Margaret Campbell, Howard Leung, Hamish Marshall, and Ming Ong — qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by carning grades of 3 or higher on four or more AP Examinations, with an aver- age exam grade of at least 3.25.
