Church marks anniversary

WEST VANCOUVER Presbyter-
ian Church will celebrate the 40th
anniversary of its congregation the
first weekend in October.

Former members and friends
are invited to attend an evening of
celebration, fun and refreshments
on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
in the Church Hall.

The Oct. 4 Sunday morning
worship service, including Com-
munion, will take place at 10:30
a.m.

The Rev. Dr. Tony Plomp,
minister of Richmond Presbyter-
ian Church, deputy clerk of the
General Assembly and the former
moderator of the General
Assembly of the Presbyterian
Church in Canada, will be the
guest preacher.

Dr. Plomp was a_ student
minister at West Vancouver Pres-
byterian Church in 1956-57 when
it was located in Dundarave, now
