Casino event geared for seniors

RENO NORTH — a special
three-day Reno-style casino, bingo
and entertainment event for
seniors — is coming to. the
Whistler Village Oct. 17, 18 and
19.

The first of its kind in British
Columbia, the Reno North event is
being organized just for seniors,
featuring the trappings of the
Nevada resort.

The Reno North festival for
seniors is to be the first in a series
of events that is planned for
seniors at the Whistler resort, said
publicist Tina Baird.

Cost for the three-day event,
which features bus transportation
to Whistler, siarts at $93. For
