Swedish hockey school in WV

West Vancouver will be
the site for a special hockey
development program
featuring a special touring
Swedish coaching clinic run
by the Canadian Amateur
Hockey Association.

Two clinics will be held
for coaches at Inglewood
School in West Van. using
the facilines of the West Van
arena.

Chnic A 1s for coaches of
players 15 and under and
will be held Wednesday.
September 3 from 7-11 p.m.
Registration is at 6:30 p.m.
at the school.

Clinic B, for coaches of
players 16 and over will be
held Thursday, September 4
from 7-11 p.m., also at
Inglewood School, and
registration at 6:30 p.m.

Registration is limited to
60 coaches per clinic and
will cost $6.00.

The third annual Ringette
School will be held for al! in-
terested girls beginning Sun-
day September 14 at 9:45
a.m. at the Karen
Magnussen Arena.

The school is intended to
dramatically improve the
skating ability of beginners,
improve the confidence and
proficiency of the expenenc-
ed player and make even an
all-star player stronger. The
girls will be taught power
skating as well as passing and
shooting dnills to get them in
shape for the coming season
which will get underway in a
few weeks.

Cost for the school 1s $15
