TECH DIRECTORIES ONE OF the more useful annual publications focusing on North Shore companies is now available from the Nerth Shore Economic Development Commission (EDC). Each year the EDC publishes a directory of technology companies on the North Shore and the 1993 edition is now available. Bonnie Pypiacz, EDC economic development officer, said this year’s directory includes nearly 300 companies in 20 different technological sectors. Each company listing includes an address, telephone and fax numbers, a contact person, the size of the company. by the number of employees and a description of what the firm does. Pyplacz said the EDC produced the directory to provide informa- tion about existing technology companies in the three North Shore municipalities. “This publication has been designed to benefit local firms by supplying data that will assist them in sourcing their needs from North Shore firms. “This publication will also assist firms by increasing the awareness of other local firms with which they may do business, thus en- couraging business and employ- ment growth in our area,” said Pyplacz. Copies of the technology direc- tory are available for $32.10 (in- cluding GST) at the EDC office, 148 East .cond St., North Van- couver. For more. information, call the EDC at 984-3580. C.M.
