Wayne Turner, who was
found guilty of driving with-
out due care and attention

the bus at East 3rd Street in
North Vancouver.

Trial judge Ellen Burdett
ruled that Turner was negli-
genet because he failed to
check his right outside mirror
before moving the bus.

Had he done so, said
Judge Burdett, he would have
noticed Erickson, who had
apparently fallen on her back
on the road after getting off
the bus.

without due care and atten-
tion carries an automatic six
demerit points, a possible linc
