The travelling public is advised. that, foliowing completion of the concrete deck resurfacing, alt six
‘lanes on the Ironworkers Memorial. Second Narrows Bridge are now open to traffic.

While ail lanes have reopened, more work remains to be done on the subdeck, however, workers can
approach the sites from under the bridge. Although some activity will be conducted during off:peak
daytime periods, the majority of the work will be carried out at night to minimize delays to traffic.

Cyclists are ativised that as part of the ongoing work, the east sidewalk wilt be closed for.
two days on Thursday, August 8th and Friday, August 9th, 1996.

Full completion of the Second Narrows Bridge Deck Rehabilitation project is expected’ by
mid-December.
