Some things have remained con- Stant over the years, as I grow older, The irresistible aroma of my mom's heavenly baking wafts through the air like a melody. Decorating the tree, encompass- ed in the warm crackling glow from the fireplace. The excitement of finding that special little something for some- one and anticipating that precious Sparkle in their eyes. J am enraptured by the innocent, wide-eyed, wonderment of little children. On Christmas Eve, amidst the flurry of activity, with twinkling lights reflecting around us, we Pause to open one gift. What Christmas Means To Me By Kristina Griesser Age 12 -To me Christmas means ‘Love’. It means peace and friendship; Kindness and happiness. Christmas is also a time mixed feelings. We are sad because we wish people who have gone before us coud be here to enjoy the hap- piness of the holidays, yet we are glad because we still have our friends and members of the family surrounding us. Christmas is a time for giving, but to be honest I should add for ‘receiving’. For small children it is a time for the spirit of Santa Claus to enter for symbol sharing Dasielle Wallace As I attend midnight church services with my family, I am thankful for frietidships, old and new. Reflecting on what life has given me, 1 am thankful for life itself. It is not the material things that create the spirit of Christmas, but a feeling from within our hearts.
