LIONS GATE Hospital intern Dr. Charles Fisher and the widow of Dr. Bill Arber proudly display the Dr. Arber Memorial Scholarship plaque. Fisher was the first recipient of the scholarship Friday at the LGH intern graduation ceremony. The scholarship, set up through the LGH Foundation, includes an educational prize worth approximately $700 to $750. Fisher is enrolled in the orthopedic surgery training program at VGH/UBC. Mrs. Bill Arber presented the plaque to the most promising surgeon among this year’s group of interns at LGH.
