NORTH SHORE resident Rob Mulder is Mud Mad — hence the name
of his winning truck. Mulder shows off his trophies and plaques that
he has won so far this year in mud races. Undefeated in 12 competi-
tions, Mulder holds two class records, one in which he travelled 280
feet through four feet of mud in 6.19 seconds. Mulder and his truck
have entered B.C. Place Stadium races three times — twice winning
his class. Mud Mad sports a 800 horse power nitrous oxide injected
Ford 477 cubic inch engine, 51 inch tractor tires and a single disc
brake mounted on the drive shaft.
