Smarties prize at Chocolate Factory Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will show at James Cowan Theatre in Burnaby this Christmas. The play is for kids of all ages and is Roald Dahl’s famous story of the tour of the world’s most famous chocolate factory. Because of a shortage of theatre space on the North Shore, Theatre West found it necessary to present this production in Burnaby but hopes its regular North Shore audience will join them in Burnaby. As a special bonus to the Christmas show, Rowntree Mackintosh has sponsored a contest for a life time supply of Smarties to be drawn on the final night of per- formance. Tickets will be $2.50 for both adults and children and can be reserved by phoning 291-6864.
