Driver had second thoughts after injury accident A man who carried on driving after being involved in an accident in Deep Cove Tuesday afternoon has been spared from facing hit-and- run charges because he turned back and returned to the scene. But 44-year-old Frederick Arthur Leman, of 4482 Cove Cliff Road in Deep Cove has been charged with impaired driving as a result of the incident. RCMP in North Van- couver allege that while travelling east on Dollarton Highway his "71 Chrysler swerved into the west bound jane and struck a vehicle driven by Eileen Smith, aged 32, of 2360 Panorama Drive, North Van., They maintain that Smith saw the car coming towards her and had slowed down almost to a complete stop when her car was struck.
