Cantata Singers to
perform in W. Van

THE Vancouver Cantata Singers are warming up
for an a capella Christmz«.

The award-winning vocal ensemble will perform 3 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 15, at West Vancouver United Church.

James Fankhauscr is director of the 40-voice choir. He’s put
together is a wide assortment of seasonal music.

“The program is divided into German, Spanish, French and
English sets and includes pieces that range from th- Baroque to
modern motets and carols. There will also be old faverites like
Silent Night and Deck the Halls.

‘A Cantata Singers Christmas features many of the selections
in the choir’s just-released CD, What Sweeter Music.

Concert tickets are $20 for adults, $16 for students and
seniors, available at Ticketmaster by calling 280-3311.

The church is located at 2062 Esquimalt in West Vancouver.
