By Evelyn Jacob News Reporter The Saltspring Island artist has created 290 original prints of his work, Great Blue Heron, ex- clusively for the trust fund, which was designed to benefit North Vancouver students of the visual and performing arts, The $2,400 prints go on sale to the public next Thursday (Nov. 14) at the North Vancouver School Board Office at 7:30 a.m. Bil MacDonald, District Art Consultant, said the funds raised will go directly to fine arts pro- grams for North Vancouver school students from kindergarten to Grade 12. “We expect a move pretty well. few original — prints made.”’ Other patrons of the Artist for Kids Trust Fund include artists Bill Reid, Gordan Smith, jack $had- bolt, Joe Fafard and Gathie Falk.
