Mensa holds testing session

THE MENSA Canada Society is holding its Van-
couver testing session on October 20.

Mensa is non-profit, international society in which
the sole requirement for membership is a score at or
above the 98th percentile on any of a number of 1Q
tests. Mensa’s aim is to foster and promote in-
telligence, its purpose to serve as a means of com-
munication and assembly for its members. Mensa
itself holds no opinions, champions no causes, and is
not affiliated in any way with any other crganization,

according to the Mensa publicity officer.

Membership in Mensa is mentally stimulating, fun
for people from all walks of life and provides the op-
portunity to develop new friendships and interests.
Regular monthly activities include Tuesday Movie

Nights, Wednesday Wallyball, Friday After-Work ~

Crinks, Saturday Socials and Speakers’ Meetings and
Sunday Dim Sum.

are flexible, and this project is one
of a kind!
