West Van school trustees, one of the health. board’s five funding bodies (with North Van School Board and the North Shore municipalities), have cut their 1985 contribution to $200,000 from the $260,000 ‘originally allocated, and are promising a further cut next year. This shortfall means the health board will be forced to reduce health services in West Van schools. School health service money is designated as such by the Education Ministry within its overall grants tc school boards, but the latter “apparently. have authority to use health funds for other purposes if that is their local “decision.
