Maclagan is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art, an illustration instructor at Capilano College and senior member at the Federation of Canadian Artists. The festival is one of the major events being orga- nized by the North Van- couver Music Educators’ Association during Music in our Schools Month, The purpose of the festival is to promote choral music by providing an enjoyable focal activity to enable stu- dents from several schools to perform for each other and to do some massed singing. Each choir will receive constructive comments from the guest adjudicators, Earl Hobson, supervisor of Music, Richmond School District, and Donald Forbes, director of the B.C. Boys Choir. The Argyle Seceudary Concert Choir and the North Vancouver Bach Children’s Training Choir are featured guest choirs, Tonight's performance is at 7 p.m. at Argyle School. Admission is free of charge.
