Dinner held
for women in
transition

VANCOUVER SOCIETY of Im-
migrant and Visible Minority
Women is hosting its third annual
Women in Transition dinner on
Sept. 28, 1993.

The society is dedicated to
identifying and meeting the needs
of immigrant and visible minority
women in the Greater Vancouver
area,

Tickets for the 1993 Women in
Transition dinner cost $40 per
person. All proceeds from this
event will go toward the
establishment of a resource centre
for immigrant women.

The dinner will take place at the
Tandoori King Restaurant in
Vancouver and will include a
keynote address by Sushma Sar-
dana, O.B.C. Owner/President of
Indradhanush Television Produc-
tions.

borhood initiatives, the Lynn
Canyon Park Management plan,
