Writer John Moore is known to most of
us here at the News for his columns on
wine. His new book, The Blue Parrot, will
undoubtedly be a great success.

Author Peter Trower took a selection of
his logging poetry that dated from 1964
and compiled it into his latest release,
much to the joy of ail his fans.

READ any good books lately? Well if you haven't, you may
want to check out th local authors. John Moorg, Pe
Trower and Greg Potter recentiy held a Sunday afternoon book
signing at Deep Cove’s Raven Pub. Warm and cozy was the set-
ting as fans gathered to get an autograph and hear the men read
trom their works. Poctry, comedy and soliloquay was the order
of the day, It was a great way to spend a grey Noventber 2 {st
and the gang at the pub couldn't agree more. Check out the
titles below and ask your local bookstore about obraining a
copy of your own favourite.
