BIG O Tires got its fall pro-
motion rolling this October
with a food drive for the
Vancouver Food Bank.

Each fall and spring, Big,
O Tire stores across the
Lower Mainland choose a
charity to support.

Big, O's purpose is to put
something back into the
communities that support its
business.

During the two week pro-
motion, customers — were
offered a discount if they
brought in a donation for the
food bank. As well as the dis-
count on the tire service cus-
tomers received, they were
also able to enter into a prize
draw.

The prizes included sets of
tires from both Yokohama
and Pirelli and a grand prize
of a flight in a World War I
combar plane.

West Vancouver resident
Bob McGill was the recipient
of a set of Pirelli tires trom
Big O Tires in West
Vancouver.

He brought in a food
bank donation when he was
having tires on his own vehi-
cle replaced.

Needless to say, he doesn’t
need a new set of tires right
now but Bob mentioned that
his son is in desperate need
for new tives for his car.

Knowing his son will be
driving with new Pirelli tires
on his cac this winter makes
the tires an even greater
prize.

Cathy Jacobs, trom North
Vancouver, was the grand
prize winner. She is really
excited about the opportuni-
ty to fly in the World War I
combat plane. She hasn’t
decided whether shel take
the ride in the plane herself,
or fet her son, Christopher,
take this exciting ride.
