Not likely, but it could be in for one heck of a fight. On Monday, dis- trict councillors voted almost anani- mously to “reiterate its previous opposition co the imple- mentation of photo radar in North Vancouver.” The marked difference this time around came primarily from Coun. Pat Munroe who openly stated that he “naively supported photo radar in the past,” but would continue to do north vancouvor District Council so no jonger. lan ‘Tootll, evecutive director of SENSE (Satety by Education Not Speed Enforcement), addressed council on behalf of 20-year resident Ron Niven (who was forced to leave three Jong hours into the meeting due to illness).
